Oriental Insurance Company to Start Officers Recruitment Soon

The Oriental Insurance Company Ltd.(OICL) is inviting applications for recruitment of 246

administrative officers. Jobs in financial sector are becoming the most sought among fresh graduates.While recruitments in public sector banks are reaching new heights, government owned insurance organizations are also joining the party this year.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection

(see bank exams calendar 2015) conducts common written examinations for PO, Clerk & specialist officer vacancies in public banks.

But there isn't any such common recruitments to hire for AO jobs in insurance companies.Hence anyone who has not appeared for IBPS exams CAN ALSO apply for these positions. IBPS exam scores are not required for this Oriental Insurance AO recruitment

Administrative Officer (scale I) – 246 vacancies

You can apply for vacancies in any one discipline only.Multiple applications will lead to rejection.

The monthly remuneration (including allowances) in a metropolitan city would be approx. Rs.30,000.

Written examination in the month of May 2015

Who are Eligible?

Like IBPS bank exams there are certain eligibility conditions to apply for Oriental

Insurance AO recruitment exams 2015:

Age limit: 21 to 30 years as on 1.1 2015 (+3 yrs for OBC, + 5 yrs for SC/ST)

Educational qualifications for various posts are:

Generalist: Graduation in any degree

Accounts: ACA/ ACS/ ACWA/ B.Com/ M.Com etc.,

Legal:Graduate in Law

Marketing: Degree with specialization in marketing/sales

The above qualification are based on the conditions specified for their previous recruitment.You will know the exact criteria on February 27, which would be mostly similar to the above

Tests & Interviews

The selection process for officers recruitment in Oriental Insurance company is the same as in banking exams.

Candidates have to appear for an objective examination (online) & qualified individuals will be shortlisted for personal interview and computer proficiency test.

As usual, every wrong answer shall be rewarded with 0.25 negative mark.

There would be a minimum cutoff on the total marks, which each candidate must obtain to get shortlisted for the interview.

Application/ Fees

Applicants should deposit fee of Rs.50 (all SC/ST/PWD/) & Rs.600(Gen/OBC males) only through online mode using Debit/ATM cards, credit card, Internet banking etc., before March 20.

There may not be an option of paying the fees with any banks.So make sure to have a proper internet connection while making online payment.

Do remember to scan your signature and photograph while attaching with the online application.
